All athletes age 10 (school year 5) to Masters are welcome to join the Club. Sutton and District AC is a competitive club and expects all our members to train regularly and compete throughout the year. This does not include Schools, County or Open events - your coach will discuss your competitions with you!

This will give you an in-depth look at Sutton and District AC and help you decide if we are the club for you. After you have registered we will contact you via email when a space is available and will invite you to a couple of trial sessions. Unfortunately we do not have the resources to see potential athletes that are not booked in on club nights so please do not turn up on a club night as there will be no one to answer your questions.
Please be aware that Sutton & District is not part of Everyone Active (SLM) and therefore they will be unable to give you information on Sutton & District AC.
Upon joining Sutton & District AC you will also have to become a member of Everyone Active. Everyone Active have different price plans on membership; pay as you go and monthly memberships. Please talk to them about this. Please do not assume because you have become a member of Everyone Active that you are a member of Sutton & District AC.
Sutton & District AC is a club run purely by volunteers, and therefore at times we will not be able to contact you immediately (we will try our best) in addition we will sometimes need to close memberships depending on capacity and coach availability.
We now have links with Aspire to Greatness and they are running afterschool athletics sessions on Tuesdays and Thursday 5pm - 5.50pm at David Weir Leisure Centre for those age 5 - 16 years. This is a great opportunity to enjoy athletics and then have the opportunity to progress to club athletics with Sutton & District AC as spaces become available. Membership Fees for 2026:
Membership fees run 1st January - 31st December
Please note the England Athletics fee £23 for 2026.
England Athletics (EA) Registration Fee is required by England Athletics and allows you to compete in UK.

* Please note that any NEW members need to pay additional £30 joining fee; new members will receive a Club Vest.
Membership Fees for NEW members is adjusted pro rata if a member joins from 1st October. EA Registration of £23 is still required.
Our membership fees do not include the entrance fees or membership to David Weir Leisure Centre (Everyone Active). Please discuss this with Everyone Active.
